Mater Sacra reaches its fifth edition and turn on the lights on the easter Materana.

Mater Sacra, Remember Me is the title of the prestigious event to be held in Matera from 2 to the 5 April directed by Gianpiero French. For three nights a Murgia Matera will be the scene of fantastic games lights and sounds that illuminate the three crosses to create the perfect combination of poetry and sacredness.

Mater Sacred born from the idea of ​​telling a story through the ancient fantastic play of lighting, audio e video, symbol of a point of contact between the primitive, the murge, and new technologies. Mater sacred but is especially sacredness, placing Matera as religious destination even if you think the event organized at Christmas the Living Nativity always set among the Sassi.

Mater Sacred "Remember Me” will feature over 60 the people in costume and 15 Knights. New this year will be one matinee entitled "Trial of Jesus” to be held in the near Tramontano Castle, who will perform the actor and director Michele Placido on texts by Raffaele Nigro.
